Matt (and Tanya) delivered exceptional photographs on the day, and managed their time (and ours) so all that Daniel and I needed to do was enjoy the sunshine, drink the champagne and natter with our guests (jumping into and out of shots as required). As a result Matt was on crutches and had a wheelchair to wheel him across the Suffolk seaside town of Southwold where Debs was waiting to marry him. The day flew by and looking at Pauls’ pictures has allowed us to really see faces, expressions and feelings we’d missed – he captured everything! It was important to my Husband and I to have traditional / quite classic shots and group line-ups (along with some more modern, informal photos) for our album, something which we found difficult to convey to most photographers who we met with (who were interested in providing their own style of photography whether you wanted it or not!). We created a “brand” with set fonts and images, this ran across everything including favours, menus, stationery and signage so everything matched on the day. From start to finish Matthew was truly amazing he made us feel so relaxed and calm on our wedding day. We opted for a Capri marquee from American Marquees to keep it bright and airy and served afternoon tea in wooden crates lined with hessian and blue ribbon.

Matthew Sims Photography popped up on a google search and after the first phone call, I knew I had found our photographer. I made it out of a tomato greenhouse frame, calico fabric and lace so it was “on theme”! There was a selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and a dessert in each hamper and Prosecco was at hand on each table. I think the shorts are the fashion statement of the year so far… I want this to become a trend (without the accidents of course). Fabric, ribbon, lace, tags, stickers, boxes – it was everywhere! Matt and I met at my sister and brother-in-law's wedding. Actor . They were with us the whole day and I can honestly say they must have photographed all 160 of our guest at least once! I'm so glad she's agreed to be one of my bridesmaids! We wanted the wedding to be a really unique event and a real reflection of us so that meant hours of sticking, gluing and sewing. Tasha is one of my best friends. No opportunity for a good picture was missed and when we watched a slide show of all 1,220 of our pictures we could not stop laughing. After an intimate and emotional service (I cried though I was adamant it would be Matt not me that did!) I know it's not easy dealing with a bride and groom overseas but your willingness to Skype us and work with us over email was much appreciated and you always responded to my queries very quickly which was great.
