It seems Tom Hardy won’t be helping Guy Pearce’s Scrooge discover the meaning of Christmas after all. The three-part mini-series is set to kick off on 22 December at 9pm on BBC One, with part two the following day at 9.05pm, and the final episode on Christmas Eve at 9pm.

And BBC One has recently announced it’ll be airing a festive favourite of a classic Christmas tale. Although rumours have been flying around that Hardy would be appearing on screen in the adaptation, nothing has been confirmed on that front by the BBC and right now all signs point towards that not being the case, sadly.
